I am a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a wife. When I figure out how many grandchildren and great grandchildren I have I will let you know.
My journal lets me give words to my thoughts. I'm alone most of the time so I think a little too much.
I do enjoy sewing, knitting, and crocheting for the little ones. Then they grow and still want me to make them things. I am a lousy cook. I once took 4 hrs. peeling apples, making a dough that wouldn't roll flat, then sat there and cried over the mess and vowed I would never make another one. Well, now when I make a pie I buy the frozen crust.
I dearly love children and especially teaching them how to behave in various situations. My own children have come back and later told me how this was appreciated. They are comfortable anyplace and with anyone. I still feel as if I have so much to give. But, time goes by too fast and everyone seems to be so far away ( mileage). I do love them all. I also like auctions! I like people. I have travelled through most of the US and find the different types of people very interesting. I read quite a bit. I was fascinated with " Jane Aul's " series of prehistoric stories, and have them all. Spent one winter reading them. Right now I am reading The James Herriot's books. Also like good mysteries!! Guess I'm just an old lady that loves life and people. I look for the good in people. Sometimes it is hard to find but I still look.
